Original French oil on canvas by Madeleine CREVEL-THIVET (1896-?), a painter whose existence is recorded by the National Arts Centre in France as well as the Ministry of Culture. However little information is publicly available about her life and work. One can only admire the present piece, a landscape of a valley in deep greens, where houses and a bridge complement the natural environment.

Note the frame is showing some signs of age, which adds to its character.
