Original vintage German oil on canvas by an unidentified painter, signed lower right and dated [19]69. A still life with a blue cup filled with bright reddish mauve or dark pink flowers. Looking like pansies, their leaves form a perfect green border above the rim of the cup. The cup is complete with a saucer, in front of which lies one of the fallen flowers. A pretty subject set against a simple light brown background where the end of the table blends into the space behind it.
In coppery gold wood frame and in excellent vintage condition.
